I got my DX6 working today. I also went all seperates as well. I got a good deal so I thought why not. This radio is awesome. I cant wait to dive deeper into the mixing and programming.

axis,

Congratulations! I really like the DX6 also - my first digital radio. When you get yours set up how about sharing your settings for comparison? What are you using for the tr motor and ESC?
Thanks

catfight,
Just got around to more reading on this thread. Good to hear it is now working for you. Those swash numbers control the amount of travel and direction. Plus moves in one direction and minus the other. The End Points are only used to ensure that the swash remains level in all collective positions. This is basically to correct for dissimiliar servo travel.
I am about to modify my bird and go brushless. I want more power! I fly my TRex's with Lehner's so am spoiled

Gary,

Thanks! On the DX6 tx they don't have "endpoints" they have "travel adjustment" which is shown as a percentage and they also have "sub-trim" for centering servos. I have not tried adjusting the travel and wonder how you troubleshoot and decide how to correct servo differences? Seems complicated :0) Can you explain for us neo's? Also, how does the swash adjustment relate to the travel adjustment?

I used:
GWS ICS-100 main motor
GWS ICS-50 tail motor
GWS PG-03 Gyro
Spektrum Servos (Came with the radio)
Stock 370 motor
8 cell NiMh
Stock Tail motor

I almost have it perfect, IMO anyways. I am learning about how the CCPM and the Revo mixing affect things. So far so good. The only issue I have is that the GWS main rotor esc has a brake function. I need to figure out how to make that go away because its naty when you drop the throttle. I got to let it spin down until its really low and then kill the throttle. If I dont the brake kicks in and brings the main rotor to a halt. So I have been flying the heli in Stunt mode with normal mode settings. The reason for this is that if the main esc detects anything other than 0 on the throttle then it wont arm. So I start the heli in Normal mode and then fly in stunt mode. With stunt mode I can program it to be 15% throttle at Low Stick. and it doesnt hit the brakes.
Other than that I love it.
I'll Post settings as soon as I have them a little closer as well as pics.

Catfight DX6 Programming

Catfight,
In looking through these posts, I saw you posted you DX6 values for your BCP on 1/19/06. I'm trying to set mine up and am wondering if you have any updated values you could post. Thanks Jerry
