Try -5 each, if that is too touchy move down in increments till you are happy with it. I started at -30 an worked up.

i lowered the EPA's, added the flybar weights, and added some expo, problem is gone now . i've know flown a few times with my eclipse. im wondering when in "idle up" mode, how you guys are getting your helis to produce lift inverted. i cant seem to get it to do so. i did get it to the point where it produces enough lift to compensate its weight, but not enough to make it climb. i had the THCV at 100, PTCV at 0, and the rotor links extended to the max. i know im doing something wrong or somethings faulty. sorry for all the newb questions, i want you guys to know i really appreciate the help, thanks!

Have you measured your pitch yet? How much pitch are you getting at full negative? Do you hear the motor bog at all? You are getting the red light on the 4in1 right?

My headspeed did seem a little low after the conversion on one of my BCPs which is why I went to a 10t at one point. But on my other BCP it seems fine. Strange.

So, we need a little more info here

"the rotor links extended to the max" doh, theres my problem,i shouldve shortened them, not extended. after i fixed that, seems like everythings good. i dont have a pitch guage yet, so cant say exactly how much im getting, its on my list of thinggs to get. how should the PHCV be, i currently have it ranging from 0-80, is that too much?

Hey Flyin,

Your pitch curve numbers will differ from anyone else's for the most part. They might be close but it all depends on your heli. A pitch guage is essential as the actual pitch of the blades is what is important rather than the numbers in your tx, so you definitely want to get one asap.

For now you can eyeball it (which might be tough to do if you are not sure what it should really look like). In Idle Up you want approximately +10/-10.

ok, sorry to bring back a dead thread....

I am getting an Elipse 7 for my B-day (yay) and I wanted to know if anyone uses revo on the radio? If so what settings have you found good luck with?

Man I cant wait to get this thing in my hands. The T-Rex will have to follow suit when I get the money.

Hi,
Im having a problem with my pitch curves in normal mode.

the points are linear:54,61,68,75,82

my problem is that in the first quarter of stick travel, the pitch becomes increasingly negative, then in the last 3/4 of travel it increases positively until it reaches +10 at the end of travel.

I guess what Im trying to say is that when it should be doing nothing but adding positive pitch, it starts out by adding negative.

If anyone else has had this problem and has a fix I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

its not the links I dont think. The servo arms actually move up (negative pitch) before heading back down.

I did fly it in my living room though and it is a completely different helicopter. I can hover it 3x more accurately and it just sits in one spot. Im using 25%expo. I love the feel of this heli with the new transmitter. Makes the whole thing feel top notch!
