| Fix!!!It seems that most people will reuse the set screw after removing the starter cup..(this is what you are calling a collet??) and this becomes a pretty standard issue...
If I have to remove mine, I pull the set screw and replace it with a new one each time... also, make certain that you are hitting the flat on the shaft, and if there isn't one, make one.... and one more little trick that I use is to use blue loctite and not only on the set screw, but also on the starter cup as well... then let it set up overnight....I have not spun a starter cup in, hell, I don't remember the last one!!!
