The certification flight is NOT to be flown with a turbine, but with a high performance model of 60 size or larger, capable of 50 MPH or more, and capable of extreme flight manuevres.

All this and more in the documents posted.

I totally forgot that Greg could do the signoff, plus with Mr. Harkey available...From now on I'll keep the signoff paperwork in my transmitter case, just for cases like this.

Let me know if you need to do your waiver, Dr tim and I are at most of the events out this end of the country. I will be at the upcomong Reno event if that works for you.

Thanks to all for the information. Hayes and I are planning to be in Huntsville 4/29/06 to get my Turbine waiver signed off.

I am also a CD and Leader Member of the AMA. After my sign off how can I be added to the list of authorized CDs to sign other pilots off? I note there are no authorized Turbine sign off CDs in Alabama.

Actually we have a couple guys up this way that can do it.
I will probably get with them before one of our normal summer fun fly's.
Thanks for the offer though. I am in no hurry.

OK no big deal, just a thought. I need to maintain focus on issues presently at hand. Going to Huntsville for Turbine sign off and the building anf flying of Hayes's Burgen turbine.
