| Tell me how you applied the moneycote.
I'll be doing a glass canopy here shortly, for my X-Cell 30, and have decided on a white base coat with MonoKote trim. I used pieces of MonoKote on the painted wheel pants on my latest plank project, and it is holding up well so far.
What I did was squirt some Glass Plus on the pants, lay my pieces down where I wanted them, then squeegee out all of the Glass Plus; let dry for a couple of days, then I shot a clear coat over the whole mess.
But I wonder about large, complex shapes of trim, and how they will lay down. I don't see myself getting any more elaborate than what you have here- and it looks good, so how didja do it?
I've got a formula involving alcohol, soap, and MonoKote trim solvent that is "guaranteed" to be the cat's meow for this task- but you know how that kind of deal sometimes works out...
