someone was bound to post it.. i may as well..

i'm tossing around the idea of these two kind of looking for a 50 with another feel after having owned raptors and flown many sceadu/freya/evo90s and also maybe to introduce other "flavors" to the airfield(s).

these two are popping up in our boards here a lot.. i know the knight 50 was out at 3DM w'/the big-names and the C5 had a great demo video showing some good power.

anyone else kind of thinking about these two, looking for something different other than the other two "common" ones? maybe some insight on parts availability or parts pricing?

Airskipper

Hi flytech

Why not give the JR Airskipper 50 a try? - or even a Tiger 50?

Cheers

oh maybe not the tiger 50.. had one at the field and we had many head tuning issues with it - mainly tracking (both wood/cf blades)

i wouldn't mind reading up on the air skipper tho.. thx.

The Knight for me, I've had mine for 2 months now and never had a problem with anything. I've had quite a few people fly it, and everybody seems to say the same thing after flying it " I want one". I've been to MTA hobbies to see all the parts in stock for myself so Im ok knowing that I will be able to repair it FAST.

cool yeah..

i've been watching what's been said with the Caliber 5 threads and comparing the flight reports with the Knight 50 threads..

overall, i get the feeling that the Knight 50 is a better bet.. part of the reason is that some new Knight owners are drawing direct comparison with the R50 and Sceadu - overall explaining it's better flight quality - which is what I'm after. strange really, as you look at the Knight, it doesn't look like a highly engineered marvel.

i noticed too that MTA is stocking it. so that's another vote toward the Knight.

i appreciate your response.. i'm starting to feel confident going the Knight route.
