| What a sunday...Finally got the gumption to take the heli out to the field for a engine fire up test. Let it be known that the vent lines are the top brass tubing in the tanks, and the fuel pick up line is on the bottom. (after 5 unsucessful starts, and a trip back to the garage, i finally figured out why there was soooo much air in the line, DUH!! ) After the usual chanting, and seances, back to the field we went, suddenly, a flip of the throttle trim, and stick, she came to life. a sudden Smirk enveloped my face, as well as the smell of Kerosene burning. so, now, i am wondering before i do the hover test, is having the throttle curve set linear 55% all across the board going to be sufficient? and the other question is, the gyro 401- whats the recommended settings for this for a x9303 2.4?
a heli is like a marriage, most of the time it works, the rest it don't. |
