The question isn't neccassarily stupid as it sounds. If you click the "start here" option as most new people to this forum might. What does it get them?

I find it real easy to navigate my way to the previous posts on this site (one click), however it is a couple more clicks to get to the create a topic section.

One click topic creation is a double edged sword, you end up with a ton of posts in the default area. Not where they should be.

One way to solve that is create a link that drops you to a special menu that when you click that it automaticly creates a topic in that subject.

BTW, I like that idea too. I thought of it as I was typing it and might be a neat feature.
