Hi all,
I am currently building my Bo 105, the problem I have is with the indentations in the tail-boom for the carbon rods to fit the horizontal stabilizers, the front mark is slightly higher than the rear mark so this would incline the horz stab, after looking at pics of a full-size Bo 105 the horizontal stabs look as though they are inclined but it could have been the way the photo was taken. Are these fitted level or are they inclined, any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Michael

Happy 2006 to everyone

Having flown the fullsize bo105, I can say there is an incline definitely. In fact after some tear downs even the vertical stabilizers were put back not exactly vertical, the maintaince guys would tell us it was ok though, and away we would go smooth as new until the rattles began again after about 600-800 hours.

Hi Felix,
Thanks for the info on the stabilizers but I've already glued them on straight up and down I did this mainly for simplicity sake and not having to worry about getting the angles the same.
By the way how is your Bolkow coming on?
Regards
Michael

I have hardly touched my bolkow yet. Everytime the weather is good here the kids want the beach and if not I am cramming in time on the raptor and venture. My dealer is correct, my bo105 will be a winter project!
