Does anyone know of any strong blades for the Blade CP? I know they make carbon fiber blades for it, but I am told they are not as strong as they are made out to be. Why can't they make main blades out of the same material as they tail blade? Any info. would help.

Just get some plastic T-Rex blades and cut them down.Part# HS1000 They take a beating. You will need to drill out the CP`s blade grip to take a T-Rex bolt.I know RCHeliWorks.net carries these plastic blades. You fix the blade breakage problem ....so something else will break.

actually, and speaking from experience... I didn't see any need to use larger bolts. I just used the original blade cp rotor bolts, and no shims (just don't overtighten the grips) (but use the brass inserts that the t-rex blades come with). the little slop will centrifically correct itself as the blades fling out. I flew like this for hours and hours and hours and they worked great.

T-rex blades

Use a 1/8th inch drill. Drill out the T-rex brass inserts. Press in a piece of 1/8th inch brass tubing. Fits great.

I agree the plastic blades are nice and they track flawless and you get a better spool up thats what I like about them. Also if there scratched and dented like mine were I took a very fine file and filed the dents away at the edge since the material is very easy to come off and they look almost new again. Jimmi
