For the money the Knight 50 is my pick, The knight is all metal, and lighter than the ALL plastic Evo, You can't bet that.

I haven't flown the Knight, but I can say you won't be disappointed with the EVO.

i would go wiht the evo.

Had too many problems with the knight. Several part failures and a set of broken frames midflight.

It really does fly well however. Hopefully they have ironed out the early issues.

I would replace the ballends as a matter pf priority though

I would go for the Evo ,simple reason Costomer support.
Can you get the same support from Composs that you can get from Hirobo over there in the states.

knight or sceadu

depends on your flying style..the knight is smooth and very accurate...the sceadu's very light and agile..my thought are as below
1..if you want total 3d and great auto preformance the sceadu the one..
2. if you want very smooth and well built..bling bling..the knights ace...
I FLY MY SCEADU LOAD..THE ONLY TROUBLE IS IF IT CRASHES IT BRAKES LOADS OF PLASTIC PARTS..
ps i never had any problems with the knight and it flies like a 60 size machine...buy BOTH..HOWS THAT
REGARDS CRAIG SIMMONS//TEAM BLACK COUNTY MODELS

or look at the caliber 5 coming from kyosho..maybe thats good..dont know yet..ps THIS IS MY SCEADU AT A DISPLAY..NICE CANOPY

ALSO STANDARD CANOPY

Tail rotor hub broke from a stress fracture.

Left right belcrank bolts running into the frames and rod between the frames was stripped form the factory.

Also the carbon frames have a weak spot right where the start shaft and clutch are supported has little to no carbon. Ie no strength.

So after the first crash caused by the tail hub breaking, i repaired it, then went for another flight, and during the first full power climbout the frames snapped and pulled the conenction to the tail servo out..down it went.

After that i gave up and chucked it in the bin.

5 flights, 2 terminal crashes.

Yes, I'm unphappy

Wish I had another one even better the big brother Freya Evo 90.

You won't go wrong, I followewd the build instruction, set the links to the lengths as per manual.

First flight only took a few trim adjustments of the TX.

Love mine

Steve

P.S. Can't sleep Santa's been and the kids are still asleep

previous sceadu 50 owner.

I'm unhappy that I no longer have my sceadu 50. depending on setup the heli was either smooth as silk or a "BEAST"

I plan on either building an Evo 50 or picking one up used sometime next year. (2k6 that is)

My only recommendation is invest in a proven solution that will pay for itself in time with less hassle.

I've owned a raptor 30 during the 1st roll out and sold it after buying my 1st Hirobo Freya. (haven't looked back)

Because of my learning curve at the time I needed something more forgiving on the wallet and that's when the sceadu 50 was released.
(good timing)

The evo 50 is not as cheap as the raptor but you get what you pay for!
An investment is something that will reward you time and time again, given that you made the right decission from the start.

If you're like me and pay close attention to detail you would also take a closer look at the Evo 50 size helis.

think of a 5 letter word that rhymes with knight.

I would get the sceadu anyday. Will probably cost you less in the long run.

I had the same dilemma a month os so ago, my main concern was parts support but in the end I was talked into buying the Knight.

I had regretted me decision as I did not receive the best service from the retailer but I am assured that it was a one off and they have been very good since.

Now I've had 4 tanks through it I am a huge fan, you get a lot for your money and if you get in a situation where you need a part in a hurry then alot of the Evo50 bits seem to fit ok.

Gee pretty simple look at the ratio of evo owners over knight owners.
That should tell you something.
