It seem like there is more and more of this lately. The screen name is

IF you see him on site stear clear he is bad, got my M/O have not heard from him since. I hope that what ever he bought with my money serves him well. He will need a lot more than what he got for court and lawyer fees.

Unfortunetly a lawyer won't touch a internet deal unless its like 2500+ and even then they don't like messing with it

>>"Unfortunetly a lawyer won't touch a internet deal unless its like 2500+ and even then they don't like messing with it "<< I found that not to be true. If you ask a lawyer to file a small claims civil suit for you, they will do it. Generally, it doesn't take more than an hour to draft the petition and file it.

If you check with an attorney it may be possible the suit can be filed in your town.

I hired an attorney to sue Radio Shack and it cost me $300.00 and I won.

Yep its pretty scary. I have been hanging out in the classifieds waiting for the right big gasser to come along. Being ready to send out $1600 or so to an individual I do not know is a test of faith in my fellow Heli brotherhood. This guy has a good record in the goodguy list but most of it was for purchasing and items he sold were low dollar. There is no excuse for his poor communications and not sending out what you paid for. However the postal service will go after him. Did he cash the MO?
Did you send it via USPS? I bet you get heli or money back (probably the money). But the damage has been done.

Good Luck
Tom

To me, it would be worth it to spend the $$ on a plane ticket to show up at his house.

Go to the Post Office and inquiry about Mail Fraud, they do take that stuff seriously and you may have some recourse on the money order.
I had to do something like that years ago and it took about 3 months but they got my money back.

Postal Money Order

Oh yeah, call the postal inspector. Go online, there's a postal fraud report you can fill out.

They will go after him if it was a postal money order and it was sent through the mail. Hopefully you have all the receipts for this, it makes it easier.

USPS is very good that way.
