I have recently been working on a Chinook using eco 8 parts. It has been successful so far but I am waiting on a gizmo coming from USA to make set up easier.

Hi Jack,

Sounds great, cant seem to get to your photos, keep us in the loop I would be interested in seeing how you get on with it.

I have an Eco myself but just taken delivery of an MS Composit CH46 which I am enjoying putting together, always been fascinated with twin rotor helis

Hi,

Joined the forum so I could have a look, is that really the tail belt driving the rear rotor? Second photo looks as though it was just lifting the rear, where you testing this without the front blades?

Is the gizmo you talked about a mixer for front and rear like the TH2 or as in my case the MS25

Sorry for all the questions what you are doing appeals to me, hope all goes well let us know

HI,
Yes it really is a belt drive!
the rear rotor was under test to try it with the belt drive.
I later tried with both rotors - that was scarey.
ran well but very sensitive.
I added to gyros and am still waiting to try it out. Hoping to do it tomorrow(saunday)
The gizmo is the th-2 which is dead clever.
