I'm sure it probably flies well but that is the most hideous looking heli I have ever seen.

Almost all the development in the RC heli indestry (Bell Hiler etc) came from Germany! Other countrys like the US, Japan and now Tiwan and china are just folowing in Germany foot steps. By the wey Germany were first in the development of rockets, Jets, Newclear power and more.

Have a nice day :)

That canopy looks cool. How wide is it compared to the old one. That is the only thing that I do not like about the Revolution.

When do you expect to have the canopy ready for shipment?

how do you figure that the germans developed Bell- Hiller? I mean it could be said that Schluter (German) combined the Bell and Hiller ideas for model use, but Arthur Young developed the Bell stablizer bar, and Stanley Hiller Jr developed the rotormatic cyclic control system, and both of them are Americans.

wow, 2008 has been a crappy year! Oh well, I'm goin flying :)

"Beller" Mixing...

The true originator of the Bell and Hiller controls mixed as one system was Franz Kavan back in 1973 or early '74. Kavan is German.

The Kavan Jet Ranger introduced that mixing system to the modeling public and it didn't take long to spread to other manufactors. I believe Kavan holds a patent on this.

Anyway, back to the key subject, what happened to John Christensen? His helicopter distributorship has vanished. Anyone else hear of someone in the USA willing to act as sole importers?

Steve

Yes, John has left, but the company will remain... It is the same company as www.airworld-usa.com. We met last week in germany to discuss the situation. The distribution will remain. They will carry everything, kits, spares, blades etc. The new series of Revolution should be in arriving by mid of september in USA. The website will also remain: www.heliworld-usa.com.

If you have any further questions, please let me know...

Christian
The mold of the new canopy was finished monday. We will start producing first canopies next week.
We also developed a new landing gear made of cfk, which will look more like the original PU landing gear, with less parts (only four parts...). This landing gear will be part of the electric kit and the nitro cfk version. Of course it could be installed to the standard version too, as an upgrade...

The picture shows my electric Revo equipped with a 12s drive set.

I put in an order for a Revolution CF on http://www.heli-pro.de some time ago, but to be honest, I'm not sure that the "3 weeks" delivery time is accurate. Does anyone know when kits become available?

And yes, that blue canopy looks great- I wish I could order that now and have it shipped at the same time as my kit.
