Too all my soon to be partners in the Revolution?

Three questions...where is the cheapest place to get it other than the Heli professional direct as their wait is til Feb....
also I see it does not come with a horizontal fin?
and for those of u lucky devils that have one..any worries about the servo placement as far as crashes are concerned?
Ohh and can somone give me a breakdown on a list of common crash parts and anything else I need to order when placing one so no waiting to get in the air?
Blades..any other options that somone has tried other than Mah???

It actually has horizontal fin. Well... a half one It's at the tail end, on the left side, mounted at the same location than the vertical fin. As the surfaces of both fins are minimal, I guess they'r there only for aesthetical reasons and to prevent tail rotor hitting the ground.

I wonder if the tail supports' holder is threaded so you can bolt a true horizontal fin incase you want it for a more stable forward flight (at the cost of a less stable backwards flight).

By the way, my model of revolution for XTR is as finished as my patience allows me to perfect it, so as soon as Zoom and his friends send me the parameter and sound files you'll have it available in my gallery and maybe in www.rc-sim.de. For now, there are a pair of photos of the model available.

Is there a life outside the sim?

Like Pelos said it has a small horizontal fin, you can see it in the picture below.

As far as crash parts then I do not have any experience with this (yet) but I would suspect the following parts:
- Main blades
- Tail boom
- Main shaft
- Feathering spindel
- Canopy
- Maybe the landing gear and front tray depending on how hard the crash is.

I am not concerned about the servos since they would be protected by the head/main shaft and the tail boom. The servo throttle is well protected in the front tray. I do not know where the best place to buy it from but do a google search for revolution heli and see if you find any shops in Europe that still have them. They will deduct the local tax when shipping it to the US.

I have tried the MAH and the 690mm V-blades and the V-blades does autos better. I have not realy had a chance to fly av hard 3D since the YS have not performed well (it feels like it has the power of a 30 size :mad so I can't realy comment on how they compare for 3D.

Have a marry Christmas

HeliWorld USA: It's been a while

Has anyone heard any news about John's new company? You'd think more would be said regarding starting dates and such. If a search through RR is performed only one real thread appears and it's tired.

John Christensen, if you're out there, please give us an update on the plans for your company and the Revolution.

Thank you,
Steve
