My manuevers now consist of loops, rolls, stall turns with piro's, FF flips, and stationary flips. But I dont feel like these are 3D manuevers, what do 3D manuevers consist of when flying the heli's? Thanks, Daz...
It's a little opinionated. I think a decent defenition of 3-D is two or more manuevers performed simultaneously. (piro flips, rolling loop, etc.)

3D ?true 3 dimentional flight occurs at the exact moment when you run out of ALTITUDE, AIR SPEED and IDEAS all at the same time.

Most use it when they can fly inverted. I would say it's about having full control while in other orientations (inverted, sideways) and flying directions (backwards, sideways).
I consider 3D flight as being able to control (although it may not look like it) the heli in all 3 dimensions, Straight up, Inverted and backwards with all the combination inbetween.

Is there a glossary anywhere that has 3D moves listed and what it looks like or some sort? I don't get anything that is said in this forum. Heck, I don't even 0wn a Heli yet, Lol.

Hey Godspeed, come down to the Los Angeles basin one weekend and I'll show ya some exciting 3D. Can't wait until I get my .91 engine. Then the fun really starts
Where in LA do you live? I rarely go to LA, but I could probably hitch a ride from a friend or something. I'm usually in the Korea Town( I think)/China Town area.

Its actually the Sepulveda Basin in the San Fernando Valley. Right about where the 405 and 101 freeways meet. Go to www.valleyflyers.com for information on where our field is.
