e-Zoom, Shogun, Dolphin > Robbe Crown III = shogun/zoom ?

Hi there,
I've just seen that Robbe is selling a new heli called "Crown III", that really looks like a Shogun/Zoom. It has Belt Drive, Fiber Glass frame, many alu parts (swashplate, rear rotor gearbox). It's exactly the same setup as the Shogun and the same size. Anyone knows if parts are compatible? By the way, it costs 200€, which is cheap when you consider that it's not a kit and that it is delivered in a steel box. The only drawback to me is the canopy, which looks like a Logo 10... Does anyone have any information on that new heli?
Best regards.

Thank you for the photos. It's definitely the same heli except for some minor details. You were right : these german guys are only putting their name on a far-east cheap product. I'm suprised from Robbe, which is a rather high-end quality company (Spirit heli are quite good helis). By the way, this heli still looks good and is very cheap.
Best regards.

some weeks ago this Helicopter was announced by Robbe.
At the beginning our first reaction was that this heli remind some other "Paper weights" helis and from our xperience with some of those helis they hardly fly.

Robbe explanation is as following:"
Helicopter came made OEM for Robbe and only for Robbe.
all changes/requirements came from Robbe Engineering team, and the manufacturing was done per Robbe needs.

the results of the test flights are very positive and satisfying.

Producing OEM in Asia is only a matter of price, since to meet those prices in Europe is impossible.
If the product is indeed OEM as needed, i think it can be a winner.
Today the support is a major issue in the world, and Robbe is known as one of the best to provide those.

first kits due to be received in a week time..

Hi Guys
I was thinking of getting one of these machines but I can see two different things .

steux
The Helli you are showing has a belt drive and the other showing by
clear4takeoff is gear drive .

I don't know if they are the same Helli's .

Just my 2 cents worth

Andrew

the fist kits already arrived

First Impression:

1- Belt drive, no shaft drive .
2- seems some work was done to make this heli flying as needed.
I dint test it yet,but i see where robbe had their own intervention in design.
3- Metal box- ready to include the heli AND the radio, not like the Trex box, too small. This box is real case to take heli with the rest of equipment with you.

conclusion:
Cost related seems to be very fair.Cheaper the Trex, full metal/gfk, with correct metal case.
