There is alot of forums all seperated that have the upgrades that fit. I thought it would be a good Idea to put them all together. If you have some upgrades on your Tiger that help them fly better please put them here. I'm looking to get a washout base the washout arms and a really good swash.

Hi.
Swash reccomendation:
QuickUK do a ornith swash. They are very nice quality stuff and should fit Tiger. 'Foxden' a member here will be able to confirm this because he has it on his tiger.

hey James, good to see you pop in here

yes, the Century Raven, Falcon and Predator tail hub/grip/bearing assembly will fit along with the JR Venture 50/Vigor CS tail/hub/grip/bearing assembly.

The KSJ aluminum washout arms for the JR Venture 50 fit (Foxden has these). I believe KSJ's CNC aluminum tail assembly for the Venture 50/Voyager 50 might very well fit. The QuickUK CF tail fins for the Venture/Airskipper fit. The KSJ CF Voyager/Venture 50 tail boom will fit too from what I hear. Any of KSJ's JR tail grip assemblies (CNC aluminum) can be retrofitted to the Tiger with a JR hub.

JR main and pinion gears also fit to allow changing the gear ratio. See MHT article on Audacity's site.

The Century Raven/Falcon/Predator Tuf-Gear landing gear fits.

QuickUK Raptor 50 CF tail boom struts fit.

is correct, I bought his Quick UK silver swashplate and it's currently on my Tiger with a gallon of fuel through it and it handles great, very tight.

Here are the other aftermarket parts I'm currently running:

KSJ 1383 3D spindle
Audacity Pro Yellow Dampers
KSJ 1150 Seesaw Arms
KSJ 1178 Metal flybar control arm
Century CN2235 tripple bb tail w/thrust bearings, complete with one piece blade grips and tail hub.
Rotortech 92mm tail blades for 30-50 size machine
Boca Bearings 10x19x7 ceramic sealed bearings (2) on the main shaft and (1) on top of the clutch bell pinion.
3/16 Carbon tail push rod from Central Hobbies w/titanium threaded inserts (THE BEST I'VE USED) I turned the tail servo inside the frame and ran the push rod directly under the boom as someone else on RR suggested, great mod, works flawless.
Quick UK neon yellow landing gear, I like the way it makes the heli sit up higher and I don't ever hit my longer tail blades.
TT 600 Main Blades
Rocket City ball links on all rods.

Dan

I'm running KSJ part # 1150 purple seesaw arms.

Do you know if KSJ makes a set of washout arms, I would like to get a set of those if available and am waiting for the KSJ washout hub, that should make the head very tight with no play, it will be expensive to replace in a crash but, who goes out planning on crashing NOT ME.

Foxden,

Isn't a rep supposed to demo the heli in stock configuration and not use aftermarket parts?

Just wondering.

My Tiger has all the mods and my sons is box stock.

I'm also running 9252's on mine and I have Hitec 475's in his. I've also been involved with testing the Tiger and trying different blade types for over a year and myself and Hotwings converted the first Robbe Orniths to Tiger 50's as well.

Should I become interested in wanting a tiger, I would rather see a rep fly bone stock, to see what I would be getting. Blair question makes alot of sense to me.
Why are you not flying stock? Just testing still for improvement? Most reps do that behind the scene and dont post about it but rather just inform the mfg. strange how all this tiger stuff is being played.

We're sampling some aluminum and plastic upgrades ourselves. A few people are presently testing a swashplate, 3D grips and bearings, aluminum seesaw and washout arms, and an all plastic washout base. However, part of the problem is I can't expand the test program because I don't have that many reps. Also, many of the reps simply don't fly hard enough to give me the feedback I need. Plus, large parts of the helicopter community has become inactive as the flying season is shutting down in most parts of the country until Spring.

John,

Do you have any reps outside of the US?

I'd love to be a rep, but I barely get chance to fly though I do test my Tiger often as a great conversation piece :P

Clyde,

I think KSJ does make washout arms for the JR Venture/Voyage series. You can check on rchelisplus.com site or K&S's Japanese site.

I'm sure any 10mm main shaft sized washout base will work on the Tiger, however the ratio might be different for the arms's pivot position. I have the positive-delta mod and I'm just gonna wait until John offers a revised stock replacement before I change mine out.

I'm running big a$$ 95mm RotorTech 60-91 size tail blades

I also have my rudder servo output facing into the frame and slid a CF tube over the stock metal pushrod and secured with JB Weld. It acts as a stiffener. I do need to pick-up one stock pushrod guide though.

As I mentioned my sons Tiger is box stock and that is the one he flys at all the fun flys we attend, I'm expiermenting with aluminum parts as many here have asked me what parts will fit I just wanted to let them know what I've tried.

I paid for all the bling parts myself and they are all on my experimental Tiger, I offer setup help not only on the Tigers but I also have a pair of Raptor 60's, a pair of Predator P-Max 90's and a Predator Gasser SE all but one of these was built from kit, my building skills are far better than my flying ability, I let my 13 year old handle that department, not that I can't fly he just kicks my butt hands down.

I will also be putting a Tiger 50 kit into a Century Bell 222 scale fuse later this winter and will post the build as it progresses.

Clyde,
Glad to hear the swash is good. I wanted to PM you a while back to check, never got around it. Now I know. .

Would love to see Audacity source some of the goodies. for my style/level of flying i dont really need the bling but would be good to see one source for all needs. just a thought.

My Tiger is bone stock and I beat the snot out of it. I was just intrested in mechanics that makes it fly smoother. Like with all helis washout, washout arms and swash make a big difference on all helis.

I'm in Arizona so I'm lucky enough that I can beat my Tiger up 365 days a year.

I just flew today after doing the "Grip Flip" and really dialing everything in. With all my comments about loose and sloppy parts I must say I was impressed today with how easy it is to fly. The slop must not effect hovering performance one iota.

Will the Quick Uk swash for the Ornith work? How about the main blade grips? The fan looks nice too.

I have the Quick UK swash on my experimental Tiger, it fits perfectly. If you want to go for the bling I'm pretty confident the Robbe Ornith grips would fit.

I would change the swash out. The stock swash has way too much slop in the upper bearing area, but the stock fan I think is pretty darn good. I don't see how a more expensive fan can beat this well designed stock fan. I don't see any real need to change out the main grips. I did the "grip flip" that moves the contol links to the leading edge. Really nice control. I don't see people crying about anything grip-wise breaking.

Swash sound like a good idea. I did a swash upgrade on my Trex and it made the world of difference.

Other items would be bling.
