Pretty much the same from a programming perspective!!!! Although, you can you can now do screen captures in full color on the 14MZ. The 12Z can't do it (yet ). And there's so much more interesting things that are being worked on for the 14MZ.

What you really need is a 9C or 9Z... 14Mz is an overkill for most pilots anyway... its nice to have one though

The 12Mz has less 2 channels and no Windows interface.
