I hadn't really noticed this flexing, but I'd hedge to bet that it may be like this to allow some give in the elevator assembly so as not to put the full brunt of the swash's action to the servo gears. Obviously since the Pitch and Aileron servos are directly tied to the swash and they likely endure more wear and tear then the elevator servo.
It may be inconsequential. However, I do think that if you reinforce everything, aluminize every thing between the servo and the blades that while everything is more precise and firm, it's less resiliant to crashes, something has got to give. Aluminum snaps or bends and once it's snapped or bent, it's junk.
