60 Size 4 bladed head Futura S/E what size blades. I fly semisemertical blades on my helis but do I go smaller or go to 600 680 I dont have a clue..

Hey Danny. The Vario guys use 670mm x 45 cord and 730mm x 46 cord on their four blade heads. I would think the 730's a bit much for a 60 size motor.

I'll probably go with 660's I cant use the Vario blades.

Be careful of the cord width, 4 660 x 60 cord will be a real challenge.

On a 4-bladed head

You want a chord of about 46mm when using 660mm blades resulting in about a 1500mm disk.

For a 1600mm disk, you want about a 53mm chord with 725mm main blades.

So what blades do you recommend for this 4 bladed head in semi symmetrical.
YS ST II and its a Futura S/E going in a Long Ranger Fuse..
