| If I remember correctly, the Hawk Sport has ALOT more tail authority than the Falcon SE or the Hawk SE, nor does it have the tail binding issues that the higher end Century Helis have...
The wire-drive isn't conducive to being efficient under heavy loads, neither are the dual BB tail grips. So you may need to do some rudder to throttle mixing.
I'm also pretty sure you WON'T have a tail wagging problem.
I don't do 3D, but like knife-edge falls and sideways loops.. will this ship have enough tail for that.
Ummm. Knife-edge on a heli, not 3D? Hmm. Sideways loops not 3D? Hmm. Exactly what is 3D to you? piro-etting rolling circles? hehehehe.
If you have to depend on a Heading Hold gyro to accomplish the manuevre, I consider it 3D. If you can fly that move w/out a gyro, it's probably not 3D .
The way you fly, I suggest you get a header tank too .
Oh to answer your question, yes, I think it has enough tail to do those particular moves. I have no HH gyro, so I can't vouch for it. As always try'em up real high first.
