| The Evo30 and 50 have the same tail.
The main difference is in the clutch bell/pinion (which cannot be separated by normal humans), the engine mount and flywheel.
The other differences are simply upgrades that come standard with the Evo50, such as push-pull controls, a driven tail and better tail blades.
If you're going to be building the heli, the main thing to pay attention to is pre-threading any of the bolt-to-plastic locations with a tap before trying to thread the bolts into the plastic. The Evo plastic is very hard, and if you don't cut threads you stress the plastic and it can crack later. The most critical area for this issue is the outer balls on the swashplate.
The Evo30 is a bit heavy for a '30. It flies nicely on an OS37, but would probably be a bit of a pig on the OS32. Not that it wouldn't fly, but don't expect it to be a hotrod with that engine.
Check out the Evo 30 in my gallery. I upgraded to the push-pull, but otherwise it's pretty much stock.
