there are some new micro helis on ebay, 3 channel coaxial like the XRB that fit in the palm of your hand, has anyone tried one yet?

some guys are selling them for $15.00 but then hit you for another 30-40 for shipping.

are they worth the money??? they look fun!!!!!

If you really want an answer, those are considered kids toys and not even discussed here.

There is a forum for one of these coax mini electric.

I guess I should say that it is _my_ opinion that those things are toys and not worth discussing. And by how it looks, several people agree with me already...

Another phrase used here quite a bit is: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...

I'll let you figure out that one....

haven't seen them, but if they're selling for $15. + 30 or 40 for shipping, I think I'd save myself the aggravation and toss a fifty into the fireplace.

I can't imagine something that inexpensive working for more than a couple of minutes, if at all.
just my 2 cents

Cheers to that... I just dropped short of a $G setting up my new T-Rex-SE, a masterpiece of engineering and design. I'm pretty sure that i'm not going to get "Punked" at the flight-line by a $55 3-ch toy

I've been around heli's for a number of years, and I've gone the cheap route in the beginning, and quickly realized that shortcuts and cheap parts = a cheap machine that flies like crap.

In all seriousness, instead of playing with that $55 toy, add an extra $100 to your expense and go get that $149 ready to fly that Hobby People is selling right now.. that will give you something fun to horse around with in the house. otherwise, you'll just end up picking up a micro FP in the long run anyway, but it'll cost you $55 more

a decent servo costs $55... keep that in mind. my two cents
