ok, so for the parts I exploded, 25 bucks for the clutch bell, and 25 bucks for the clutch itself. $50 (assuming I can disassemble what I have and put it back together)

Raptor 50v2 thunder tiger parts
17.69 and 20 - $37.69
Mavrikk after market for thunder tiger raptor 50v2 (and I really have not much experience in these matters)

Yep, $12 more than the Raptor clutch assy for the larger complete Tiger setup.

I don't see any disadvantage whatsoever. Not only that, having to purchase the assy is pretty rare.

Yippie!!! Tiger is home...

majorsmackdown did a marvelous job of coming through on the Tiger. It's home now (at my place) on the east coast. How did you do that? UPS takes a week to get something here from the west coast and the Tiger showed up in two (2) day's. No problem here though. All I'm missing is the gy401 and the 50 sized muffler and the muffler has been ordered. Time to get this ready for the coming warm weather. We are getting warm weather again aren't we? These are nice kits folks. Yes and it is the full "KIT" not the ARF. So I'll have fun putting it all together. Which is what I like anyway. I can make sure everything is assembled and loctited correctly (is that a word?). To bad these came out about the same time that I had bought another competing kit, or I might have gone with this in the first place, but I'm here now.

John Beech - You are to be commended on a very nice helicopter kit. Keep up the good work and I'm sure that others will follow. After having seen how the kit is packaged and the parts layed out, I can't see how anyone could go wrong with one of your heli kits or the ARF.

Thanks go out to both John Beech and John Ells.

You Have It Now!!!!

Shame you won't be home all weekend to put it together though!!!! I would have taken it with me!!!!
If you like the looks of the kit, just wait until your first hover with it!!!! (That's where the "grin" is hidden)
Warm weather!!!! Anything above 30 is warm in the NE!!!! Get to work...
Best of Luck.... Stan

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!
