I'm new to glow refueling.

I thought you are supposed to block off the engine when refueling so you don't flood it. How does the built in frame fuel shutoff accomplish this?

It seems like you would have to tee it inside the frame I guess but I haven't seen any pics of anyone doing it that way.

I guess most are just pulling the line off the carb to fuel up?

you can pull the line off the carb to fuel. The best thing to do is to run a filter put it outside of the fram and unhook the hose from the filter to fuel.
The fuel cutoff slot was put there to kill the engine of close off the fuel line i there is extra fuel left in tank between flights so you dont flood the tank.

Well it looks like I might have fuel by the end of the week so first flight is dangerously close.
