| Pictures of a Notar chopper.These picts are of the helicopter that Kendal-Jackson winery owns. The chopper is piloted by Mike, who was THE test pilot for MD and was heavilly involved in the design & testing of the NOTAR system. When KJW bought the helicopter Mike was to instruct the two other pilots working for the winery how to fly the helicopter. As it turns out KJW ended up with a package deal, they bought the helicopter-piolt-and mechanic(Mike as well).
I took these pictures, he/they used the pad at work atl east twice a day. How cool is it to be able to walk right up to one of these, talk with the test pilot/mechanic let alone get to sit in a chopper this cool. Note the "wire cutter" on the top & bottom of the nose.
