I read in the directions that I need a dial indicator to install the engine to fan and clutch assembly.

How did you you attach your fan?

I have my OS 50 coming via UPS any day now. I'm really clueless about the dial indicator and how it works. Do you anchor both the dial indicator and the motor/mount & fan assemply, and spin the engine? I'm sure it will be more apparent when I have one in front of me.

Also, I really don't want to spend much on a dial indicator if I can avoid it. I'd use it once or twice. Where can I get a reasonably cheap one?

Anyone willing to rent one to me for a couple of days? There would have to be a bit of the honor system here I guess, but if someone's willing to ship one, I'll ship it back and pay shipping plus a few bucks, unless of course they are cheap $20-$40 maybe?
