Avant Aurora - EFX - FX > Avant EFX mixing arms on EVO90

Anyone using the Avant EFX mixing arms on the EVO90? I was thinking about trying them to experiment further with mixing ratios, but Augusto is worried that the 9252s would not be able to handle the increased load. I wanted to know if anyone has tried it and what they thought, as well as what servos are being used.

The now recommended servo is the 9255. It has been found that the gear set for a 9255 can be put right into a 9252 and essentially turn it into a 9255. The specs work out exactly right with the change in gear ratio.

I'm also concerned about the cyclics getting too active and risking a boomstrike. Since the Avant has the tailboom below the main gear that's not a risk.

The 9255 is just so slow....
Don't the 9350 or 9451 seem better if you want metal gears....?

Of course, there is always airtronics 94758Z....
