| Colin's graciously pointed out a couple of mistakes on my part and I promptly corrected them because he's entirely right. Both were outright errors.
First, the Raptor "does" have provisions for mounting a hopper tank. However, it's been my experience a hopper has more to do with maintaining a consistent fuel mixture as the tank runs dry and less to do with bubbles. As most folks know, the engine runs richer when the tank is full than when it's near empty due to the differences in pressure head the carburetor sees. That it also serves to catch air bubbles is true.
Second, my memory failed me in as both the GV-1 and heading hold were available when the Raptor was introduced (so possibly was crack, though Colin didn't mention anything about this
As for the rest, I stand by what I've written and am quite happy these appear to be the only errors. I also trust readers will recognize nobody benefits when a error is introduced into an argument and I also hasten to assure everyone I would never willfully introduce a factual error.
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
