| actually an hornet with reasonable upgrades (brushless setup plus some CNC'd items) would come out similarly priced as a brushless voyager. how'd i know? because i have a voyager and was thinking about getting an hornet as well. the high cost of an upgraded hornet ($380 full kit + $90 CP upgrade + $200 brushless + $100 misc. upgrades) can already get you a brushless voyager with decent electronics. flight-time wise, both should end up at around 8-10 mins.
it boils down to your preference, actually. voyager is an outdoor-only heli while the hornet is mostly indoor. |
