My Wham-O-Copter flaming lawn dart is almost repaired and today I received my canopy from Joe (Paint Fumes).

I want to express my gratitude to him. He saw pictures of my crash'n burn \"experience\" and felt for me.

My wife saw this canopy at the the Phoenix Fun Fly and liked so much that she paid $169 to Colin for it (ouch). This is the canopy that I liked best of all the ones I have owned but being so expensive I couldn't stomach getting another one. Then out of the blue I get an e-mail from Joe telling me he read about my crash and that if I wanted he would replace my canopy paint job for what aside from a few bucks for cost of materials and shipping was basically free.

I couldn't believe it!
I was able to get the canopy I liked so much back again

THANKS A WHOLE LOT JOE!!!

I'll probably have the Wham-O-Copter back in the air on the weekend .

As a way to thank him I took some pictures of the canopy so you guys can see the quality of his work:[break]










He also painted another one for me so I could replace Adam France's canopy. I paid regular price for this and the quality of the work is also superb. This one has the holes for the fuel and the nicer original windshield just like Adam wanted from the beginning.

Yeah it was the engine stuck in max thottle then the clutch bell melted and the melted aluminum ignited the alcohol/grass.

I had to do it, sorry. I was the one who stopped by your tent that night and said “well at least you’ll always be remembered with the most fantastic crash of IRCHA 2002”. You said “no I’ll be remembered more for the flying I do tomorrow”. Well, cutting off half the boom in flight was cool but I’m still voting for the fire.

Does great work on all canopies I have the first one he did in that syle you have Augusto on my CS VIGOR,it really is great looking and its been on since last year and still looks great ,he has done 3 canopies for me and all of has had great workmanship and has been outstanding in design and colors
