| No, no, you misunderstand Alejandro.
The average Tiger 50 crash-call goes out our door for about $36.
However, I understood you to ask what parts to keep on hand. The reason I presented the data to you is because I know you are in Mexico. Since I lived in the Republic of Panama for 15 years, I thought I had experience with why you wanted to know what parts to keep on hand (since I know the pipeline is longer for you than for most modelers). Did I misunderstand what you were asking?
Folks, I related what statistically we have determined (via empirical evidence) is what should be kept in stock if you want to be 95% sure to get back into the air without delay. The purpose of this data is actually destined primarily for the use of hobby store owners. That's because they wish to service their customers needs with a minimum of overhead. This is because it can be quite expensive to keep every single part on hand, so they play a statistical game of trying to keep the most people happy with the least amount of parts.
Thus, with the list of parts I provided, you could get back into the air 95% of the time, not that you need these parts each time you crash . . . there's a big difference. Do you understand the difference?
For example, a customer crashes and goes to the hobby shop because he needs a tail boom and spindle shaft. Hence, with those parts on hand the store owner satisfies the customer's needs for repair and the customer is happy again. A different crash might have broken a tail boom, a set of landing gear legs, a tail output shaft and a spindle shaft. Again, with those parts on hand the store keeps their customer happy as they can effect immediate repairs and be back in the air. Yet a different crash may take out main rotor blades, main shaft, and spindle shaft. Again, with this stock on hand their customer is back into the air and happy.
However, what I have not addressed with the prior information is what level of these parts to keep on hand, i.e. 3 of each. This decision is made by each store owner based on their comfort level and knowing their customers as well as their state of cash flow, etc. However, what we have determined is that with these parts in their store, the hobby dealer can satisfy 95% of customers. I trust you understand now what the intent of the information was.
