I haven't flown too much, would it be advisible for me to not paint my white canopy before I get more accustomed to flying, that way I wouldn't mess up all the hard work I would put in.

First of all, I don't have any fancy air brushes or any type of spray devices. I would have to go strickly from a can. Can you achieve a nice paint job from a can? For the final clear coat, can you get good results from clear coat from a spray can (do they make clear coat in spray cans)? I'm sorry if these questions are ridiculous, but Im only 18 and I have never really painted anything to the extent of worrying about priming and coating.

Can you achieve those fades between colors with a spray can? Would I be pretty limited in paint schemes if i stuck strickly with cans. Is there a spray on tint for the underside of the windshield?

Thanks

Before I got heavily into scale, all my painting was done with aerosols (cans) and when I first got into scale I carried that with me. Many of those early scalers were show winners and I know other older scalers will say the same thing: there's no reason you can't get a great finish out of an aerosol with a little practice and careful choice of product . Surface prep BEFORE you start painting is a BIG part of a good paint job.
Yes, you can do the fades with aerosols. It takes a little practice, but no practice or education is wasted.
