| Ive met Mr. Watanabe of Quick Japan here at his tiny shop here in Utsunomiya Tochigi Ken, Japan twice, he sold me my EP8 Which he still refers to as an EP not a QJ, and he has shown me some new parts that proves that his product is evolving, and improving. When I see photos of the EP8s outside of Japan and the ones sold here, like mine, I can see many differences, such as the milling of the main frames are different, many new parts are made from 2mm aluminum sheet rather than 1.5mm. all of this talk of who is who is really confusing, me, I must be unaware of the diferences between the JDM Quick and the export Quick, but ive been to the shop, and I really like what I see. I realize that he doesnt make all the parts in that tiny little shop, but he does finish alot of the parts there, which makes me realize that he is dedicated to the quality of his product. One of the biggest problems in Asia is that there doesnt really exist any sort of effective patent control, which would make any manufacturer not based in China weary of doing any source contract work. |
