Synergy is going to blow the Stratus out of the water. The Stratus is weak and sucks, the SN9 is strong and is untouchable. The SN9 will go into the record books for the best in class, and the Stratus will go into the record books for the worst design/engineered Heli built to date!

Oh man, is this gonna get the Fury fliers going. Loke kicking a beehive. Seriously though, have you seen it in person? have you seen JK or TB beat the crap out of it like they used to do their extremes back when they flew MA?

I had the pleasure of spending the day with JK & TB yesterday at the clinic, at the EastCoast Fun Fly in CT.
I saw JK fly his Synergy twice...you won't believe your eyes!

Gravity Works...no, the other left. ok,ok

You never know how good a helicopter is until it reaches the hands of the consumer. I would wait until what regular people say about it before I would consider one. I have seen pictures and the synergy does look good.

I doubt you will see a rush of Stratus flyers selling there brand new machines in favour of a Synergy N9. The financial loss would be huge! You give a brick with a rotor to JK orTB and they can make it fly well.

I couldn't believe my eyes at the time I saw JK fly a Fury extreme a few years ago. I also saw the demo flight at the 3D Masters of the Synergy, and didn't see anything that made it stand out from anything else.

When it is finally released, there will be a fair share of gripes and problems that the consumer will come across, you can be sure of that, and they will slowly but surely rear their heads in this forum. No model is flawless, as much I am sure that Jason and Todd are doing their best to make it a reliable machine.

I have flown for 4 years and only this year finally took the step to the Fury/Stratus after doing the rounds with many machines. I never felt so confident as the minute I put my first Fury in the air. I am totally addicted to the way these machines feel and fly, so I for one won't be rushing out for the Synergy, irrespective of any hype, comments or reports about how well or bad they fly.

Bottom line is that I think the MA 'addicts' won't be shifting from what they know and love. As for the worse model in History.......well....as a hybrid of arguably the best 3D machine produced in years - the Fury, I doubt the Stratus will earn that title. You flown one yet??

Work sucks!!

RC Rotortek is right on. Time will tell. The Synergy will have it's share of problems like all other NEW helis when they first came out. The real test will be when the consumers get it in the air.

If you keep doing the same thing…...you’re going to get the same results!

It's funny how some just-a-minute registered people present themselves into this forum.
This smells like some noise making just to make us talk (and listen) about two new products going to hit the market.

Is there a life outside the sim?

Exactly! We need to see how it flys when your collective managment skills are challanged, unlike JK's.

The construction of the Stratus does look weird,, I like the construction of the Cynergy.

What people like 2005.5 do not yet understand is that it is mostly the pilot and not the heli that makes a heli fly well.

Once you look past the ravings you will find that there is nothing revolutionary on it.

I do like the top servo support and mounting with the servo wheel support like the other brand we know.
The engine is just slightly higher mounted
From what the pictures show you don't seem to be able to change the Bell/Hiller ratios between Flybar and Mainblades

It's up to them to set it in the right market kniche by having it priced around the Raptor 90 mark and keep the spare part costs at that kind of level.
If they do that then it will be a winner.
Otherwise...

about if he has flown a zynergi, what i heard a friend that flew with him said, that they couldnt lend it to anyone yet, because they only had 4 prototypes yet, so i doubt anyone else than Jason and Todd has ever flown one..

i think its funny how people get so upset when they say one brand is better than the other

well of course, if you have no, or very limited parts, you don't want to take the chance of some one else destroying it.

Actually I was luck enough to have had a couple of flights on one of the Synergies, very impressive and can't wait to get one in the air.
But your basically right not many have flown one yet.

Cheers
