About two months ago after a fresh set up, after about three tanks hovering just to make sure everthing was running good. I did a few twenty foot jumps just to check power, it was great. I did a full power climb out and at 60 70 feet the helicopter trim drastically changed. seems like I had the stick in one corner and the best I could do was a slow circle working away from me. the chopper kept moving away so I backed out of he throttle/pitch and the blades basically stop and fell 40 ft to the ground.
One of the paddle had turned 90 degrees. damage was boom (it landed on the tail) feathering and main shaft, blades were fine. I'm now running a Raptor fly bar and KSJ paddles. |
