While flying for my parents friend to see for the first time, I climbed vertically like I was gunna do a stall turn, then moved the collective to full negative, full positive, then negative etc etc. I saw somebody do it on a video I got from the internet and thought it looked cool, I was just wondering if it has a name

A tic toc moves through the pitch (elevator) axis, it sounds like this was just a collective input......Collective pump is what I think it's been called.

That maneuver looks really cool at night, by the way. If I recall correctly, Gary Wright was the first person to wow a crowd with acollective pumping stall turn at night, several years ago.

No offense to Gary, but "collective pumping stall turn" rolls of the tongue a little bit better than "Gary Wright collective slamming stall turn thing" which is the only description I knew of until just now.

All i can say is that it sounds very dodgy. Imagine at a competeion the live comentator announces, "theres some fine pumping there by mcallister with his raptor". If i was there id crash my heli from laughing too much. what do you think andy....
