I guess it could take a week to repair a model, but since I can build and entire Extreme from open the box to ready for radio setup with linkages installed but not adjusted in about 10 hrs, I would assume you mean working a little every night.
I haven't seen anything but pictures of the Synergy so cannot comment on it's performance but would assume it to be fine, but since there aren't available to test, I'll wait and see when they are released. I have owned Extremes and now the Stratus and know they work well.
