I decided to use very small & short screws in a 'set screw' fashion to secure the boom to the frame, and the tail case to the boom. It makes replacement and adjustment very easy, and is secure enough but giving in a crash.

1) Drill a small hole in one side of the tail case, and one underneath the frame/boom joint - I use a 1.2mm bit

2) Use a small/short screw or set screw to tap the plastic - and tighten it against the boom - do not screw into the boom, don't strip the hole, and don't smash the boom. You don't need much pressure to hold it. For extra strength if required, add a screw to the other side of the tail case. You can use machine screws or blunt tip self tapping screws, but I use machine screws.
