e-E-Flite Blade CP mCX CX 400-3D > 9 cell NiMh on Blade CP?

Hello

Stupid question here, but if the Blade CP can handle a 11.1v Lipo, could it not theoretically handle a (9.6v+1.2v) 10.8v NiMh pack? More weight I realize, but I think it could handle it especially with more power to back it up. However, I'm not interested in burning up my 4 in 1, so I'm a little chicken to experiment. Any opinions welcomed.

650mAh stock E Flite pack. Don't have the weight as I don't have a scale. I have been able to lift an additional AAA cell as payload with my Blade using the stock pack with no problems.Does anyone have a responce regarding the possibility of running a 9 cell NiMH pack? Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I don't see why not. I ran a lipo in mine and it was great. Try it; it shouldn't burn up the reciever.
