I am new helicopter pilot. I bought the new E-Flite CP and was so excited to get it flying. I opened up the box, got everthing hooked up and started her up, but I cannot seem to get her off the ground. I have tried everthing and have gotten pretty frustrated about not being able to make it fly. I don't want to give up on this hobbies because of my love of helicopters. I was wondering if there is someone out there that has a CP blade that can help me get mine adjusted so it can fly. I think the pitch is off and so is the tracking of the blades. I live in Anaheim,California. So if there is someone near please respond.

Pitch

If the head is spinning fast but it will not lift off maybe you need more pitch...Take off ball links to main blade and turn out 1 turn on each side and put back on...try that

Collective problem

You may have the sticky collective that has been addressed on this forum....

lLook through the forum and you will see someone has posted a fix for it.

Have you checked the collective as they say in the instruction manual?

Disconnect the main and tail motor leads from the 4 in 1 (make sure you note where they went and the orientation)

You should then be able to move the throttle up and down and watch the swashplate and the blades change pitch..


I also asume when you trying to fly you "DO NOT" have the switch on the top of TX in Idle Up......It should be toward the back of the TX...then you will be controlling the speed and the pitch from zero to liftoff speed.

If the above does not help....please give us more info....
