Hey Guys,

I'm gonna run the 2 into 1 mixer and a JR610 receiver so I can use my 10X with my Blade. Can anyone recommend a gyro to use? Heading hold would be nice!

I tried it tonight. It took about 15 minutes with a GWS receiver and it works great!
You still get to use the 4 in 1 gyro but it now works with your 10X

Bevar,

I have a BCP running seperates and a brushless motor. I found that the CSM 200LW HH gyro works very well. It is HH and it has a POT on it for gain adjustment. It really works well and only weights 9grams.

This is a great little gyro for micro e-helis. You may visit R/C Helis Plus.com for availability of this gyro.

Guys, since it still uses the 4:1 do you need a TX with CCPM mixing?

Yes.
If you make the conversion, all the 4-1 gives you is a BEC, gyro, speed control for the main motor and speed controller for the tail rotor motor.
Your transmitter needs to be able to do 120 degree CCPM.

We flew ours again tonight with the GWS receiver molded in to the 4-1 module.
Its really is the nuts!
The whole helicopter is instantly better.
Backwards flight isn't perfect but it is as good as you can expect from a direct motor driven fixed pitch tail.

Hi Guys,

I hooked up a 610UL to my Blade so I can now use my 10X. The only problem now is the tail motor runs waaaaay to fast to fly. I dialed down the pot on the 4 into 1 and it was a bit better but still unflyable. I guess I must have something active on my 10X that I either need to turn down or off.

Any idea what it might be?

Check your revo - make sure there is no REVO mixing active in the Tx.
