Century. this is where i got it... pretty good price i think.
http://www.heli-world.com/Merchant2...uct_Code=CNE259

The anti-rotation pin doesnt work with the stock anti-rotation fixture, so i also had to purchase the hummingbird anti-rotation fixture (something like $3), and remove the stock blade one.

they also make blade grips which i got but i need to go out and find some spacers to make them work right on the Blade.

** edit:

As for performance... first off i am a noob, so take what i say with a grain of salt. the stock swash seems built pretty well actually - never broke on me, it moves very well, and no slop. after replacing it with this aluminum one, i did feel that the head in general was tighter though, and flight was a bit smoother and more predictable.... BUT that is more likely me getting better at flying it than me noticing any perf difference in the swash.

I got this upgrade more for the tinker value & peace of mind than anything else. I've had a few ball joints break on me so it feels good to get something in there that i know won't snap.

Landing Gear Legs

Hey tenfour..nice looking heli. If I can make a suggestion on your landing gear legs covered with tape...you might want to do what I did, and that is to take some sawing needle thread, and wrap each leg with a figure eight pattern 6-7 times around the leg and where it inserts in the skid, and then put a drop or two of Ca adhesive on the wrap. This really holds the legs together, and has not led to any breaks for me so far...it looks better also than the tape!

yea the tape was a real temporary thing of convenience. imho, the best solution i have found yet is to just JB-weld the joints. they are much stronger than the stock skids.

hey Boyd-Hoverup,

Why are you running two phoenix 10 esc's? How are they wired up?

He is probably running brushless tail motor and main motor. So you need two ESCs. The main motor ESC is probably hooked to channel 3, and the other plugged into the gyro output. Probably has the main power inputs paralleled off one battery connector. Just guessing....

Now here's a pic:

Nice Heli's, can you post what parts you are using to go brushless. I just ordered a JR 610UL receiver and intrested to use a better Gyro and figured I might as well go brushless too. If you are doing a brushless tail please be sure to list what your are using there too.

Thanks

Here is a pic of my Blade. slight antenna mod, nothing to brag about
and it does fly very well.Comparing this to the Aerohawk I bought and flew for a year..you dont realize how hard you fly until you go into a CCPM heli. This heli is sooo much easier!

Your heli looks cool...Where did you get the white down fin by the tail?
It looks like it'd help save the tail motor/prop....btw my main rotors usually have more dents than yours LOL

Cool Heli-pad too!

Hey Beerz,
Thanks for the compliment..the tail fin I made out of a sheet of PVC
Actually..I just removed it and am looking into making one just a bit more sturdy. That one was really for cosmetic reasons and didnt really support the tail in an uneventfull tail strike.
The heli pad I made up yesterday because the grass was snagging the tail rotor to often and I wanted to have a decent target to land on instead of just anywhere.Plus it helps to pactice on being a bit more precise on landing.
It adds a bit of scale flyng to the yard!
Here is an earlier pic of my Aerohawk last year (FP) I still have it and it flys well with the Hughes canopy

Cheers!
