Idle browsing and I've just come across this thread so:

Newish Kalt pilot here

A few months ago I brought a Baron 30 4 stroke off Ebay, more for the oddity than any thing else. It's fitted out with an Enya 51 4 stroker. But I've got to admit it's an absolute pleasure to fly

I'll see if I can put some pictures in me gallery over the weekend.

Kalt flyer

Hi Guys

I started out on a stock Enforcer and learned how to fly with it. I then picked up an Enforcer ZR which I have tinkered with over the years. It has a metal swashplate, aluminum mixing arms, Baron 30 rotorhead, various carbon fiber bits as well. It has been a good machine. I also have a TSK 46. So I guess I am flying for "Team Obsolete" But I have a lot of parts to keep both going for a while anyway. Cheers

I also fly a TSK Mystar 46 along with my old Kalt Omega Pro , "Team Obsolete" member number two!

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Way to go "Team Obsolete 2" Nice to hear from folks with the same gear. They are still great helis. There is still a fairly good stock of Kalt parts in Calgary AB. But can't seem to source TSK parts? Anyone know of any?

The last time I wanted a couple of bits , a couple of years ago , TSK UK still had some stuff . I know that the tail boom of a Kyosho Cailber 30 will work on the Mystar 46 . It's the same diameter , just a couple of mm shorter than the original , or , so I am told , you can cut down the boom on a Hawk Sport - also the same diameter .

At the end of the day , it gets dark .

Hi Nivlek,

When I first got it, being the first time I'd had a 4 stroker, I was told to run it on 0% nitro. Thing is there just wasn't enough power to lift it off the ground! Now I run it on 10% CP and it flies just fine, well I dont do 3D, mainly scale flying, so no need to push the nitro up

No problem Helinutz2 , maybe what we really need is to get some "Team Obsolete" graphics made up !

One of the best

Built my Kalt Baron 60EX brand new in 1986. Still flying with original wooden blades, mechanical Futaba dual rate giro and OS61.
The EX had shorter tail boom and blades than the Baron 60 to make it more manoeuvrable. I believe it was one of the first helis to fly a rolling circle.

Also use the original (single model) Sanwa Module 7H, classic but weighs a ton.

Hummmm........ I guess I can belong to this club. I have seven Kalt Whispers (several new kits still in the box) that I still fly every now and then. Someday I;m going to put the whole lot on ebay and see what happens! Pete
