Made some minor edits to initial post to get people to buy an extra battery. It doubles your flight time and if you get the one Rick Blaze sells, they are lighter, last longer, and are more powerful.

Wireless XRB Tx

How are the controls set up. I ask because I bought one of those real cheap Co-Ax for her the other day and the sticks are set up or should I say screwed up. Throttle and Elev. is correct the other who knows? I like for the Wife to learn right the first time.

Do you have the Hirobo XRB? It comes RTF out of the box. Charger it up and it hovers fairly easy. It comes with a blade balancer in the kit. Just set the XRB on the floor and center all trims and turn on TX, While XRB on floor, turn on XRB and press the button below the switch. lights flash and your ready to take off.

You may want to balance the blades and then track them and then give it to you wife and she'll have a blast.

It hasn't arrived yet. I own a Trex XL and an EVO50 so flying it won't be any problems for me and don't think the Wife will have any problems. She good with her hands.

The sticks are set up just like your REX, they just wont be a responsive. You can push full forward and you will get forward flight, not a dip. You can pull full back and it will back up. Full left or right and it will move that way but not roll.

With the standard flybar the response is a little slow so it's very easy to hover and move around. If you change to advance flybar setting it's much more twitchy in response. Leave it the way it is for your wife and she'll have a blast.

Thanks for the input! I think she'll have to keep it lock'd up. When I think she has it down to a pat, she'll probably catch on quicker than I did. I let her have a plug at the EVO.

Use turns to build up forward speed. You will be amazed. Find a no wind time to fly it outside. It's great.

try left rudder and nose down, it's make fast left mini funnels (spirals). I can't do it as nice and fast on the right side.
