I bought mine off eBay for $250.

I think I saw the one you bought, for $250 it wasn't only the heli but the engine and most of the electronics as well such as a 401 with digi servo? Is this correct?

There's a reason why nobody wants them and they sell for that price.

Well I just ordered My Quick 50 yeaterday. I sopke to Irwin personally. Seemed like a nice guy on the phone. i asked for the 40% discount and received it. I hate to diss a company before I try it. Maybe ill regret it, but its not a big investment at 40% off so why not. Ill let anyone who is interested know how it builds and flyes. i plan on taking alot of build pics so those will be available as well.

Thanks
Anthony

Heh! Yes, that was the one on ebay!

It came with a OS .46, GY401, S9253 tail servo, s3010 servos for everything else, Futaba 148df reciever sans crystal, CF boom cupports, 1 pair of wood and FRP blades, an extra CF boom, 3 extra pairs of tail blades, extra flybar, extra 5mm rudder pushrod kit, spare tail pitch slider, and a spare boom end cap.

Pretty good deal for only $250.

It needed work to get flying, mostly because the previous owner(s) didn't do a good job setting it up.

The only really thing about it is that the damn thing cost $300 to repair after my crash! :P

Well its interesting that QWW Stefan hasn’t had anything to say for a bit in this post, after blowing himself off here on RR.( or maybe he got fired as this post has just given quick more bad publicity and cost them even more sales)
The only respect I can give him is at least he believes in the product he is so called making.
If you’re going to come on here and make the statements you have, you better have the product to back it. Or back you up.
If you think we all came down in the last shower you better think again.
You have just done allot of damage to your company by coming on here with a big ego. If I was your employer I would fire you straight away as this type of thread is not good for sales or the name of the company. As what you have achieved in four years has just been destroyed in two days by you.

Next time you put up a post like this, have a good think about it first

If you want quality you have to pay for it, and they're not desperate to sell it, it sells it self

there are plenty of posts getting stuck into HHI and Irwin.
I would like to know if all you guys own a quick ?. its one thing to get stuck into HHI but qualify it with ownership facts, not heresay and speculation.
I own 3 HHI E helis. 1 original quick 10 (ali frames), 1 ep10 carbon and a quick sweet 16 carbon. I can tell you that the 2 later models (carbons)
both had extensive missing parts and manuals for them were hopeless.
Once all parts were obtained and the helis assembled the are reasonably solid flyers. None of them stand out as great and they are all heavy. Not really sure what planet Stephen is on. My logos will out fly and out handle my quicks any day of the week. I would think that the quick from my experience are more suited to general sport flying not much else. They are really too heavy to use for scale and 3d (although it may be possible). I have had pretty good luck dealing with HHi for bits and pieces, but there really is no excuse for the missing parts and poor manuals these days.
I think when we have options for helis that are well made, complete and with good manuals, there is not much positive going for quick at present. I know for a larger heli i would choose a logo for sure, pretty much nobrainer for me and smaller helis the eolo is hard to pass.

Quick may be better off shouting from the roof that they have fixed their problems and they have a reasonable range of sport helis. It would be more believable than the"best"

we can never have too many, can we ?

How is this damage control ? They jump on and claim they have/are the best. Most of the quick owners that have another heli to compare to know what crap that statment is. I fthey were in damage control they would have edited stephens first few posts.

wow, what a rant, after reading that, i think Irwin should ban himself from the forums. it does no good for a manufacturer to type such crap.
As some one else typed, if the product is good it will stand up for itself.

I have seriously read all the concerns stated in this thread.Correct me if I am wrong but our manuals,Tech Support and other issues that we have had are resolved. Yes in the beginning of any venture there are bound to be a few hitches. We have taken the time to help all of our customers and resolve issuse if need be. I am sure all our heli's will be at IRCHA, why not go over and ask Jon or Chuck if you can go fly them. I am sure they would be willing to let you fly one. Let's be serious and give the heli's a shot. They can and will stand on there own.....
