Well, my Tiger is here. Looks like a really nice design, can't wait to try to make it say when. She will be getting an OS .50 hyper, a 401, and I haven't decided what else yet. I will most likely transfer my radio gear over from my Raptor for now, which is a shame, because the Raptor is a great little heli, too. But, it's only a .37, and, well, you know.

Wow, the ground was closer than I thought.

DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go ahead with that switch over.... bet it will be awhile before you look back!!!!!
I haven't heard anyone yet that was not pleased with the way the Tiger flies....
What sevos did you have in the Raptor 30????
You should use a least a premium BB sport servo....(this would be minimum requirerment)
So let us know what you think once you have it in the air......
Have you seen that "grin" that comes in the box yet??? Don't waste anytime looking for it.... because it will find you once you go into the first hover.....
Good Luck.... Stan

If there is a cure for this, please don't tell me about it!!!

Congratulations on the Tiger, funky! I wish you many years of happy flying with it. Check out my gallery for pics on my build, and feel free to ask questions.

Actually, I bought mine used off of a member here. I will be using Hitec 635 servos for now, and the 401 with the 9253, and a GV- 1. I have decided to sell the Raptor, and use the money for an OS hyper .50 with the CY MP2. As my finances allow, I will be upgrading to digital servos.I didn't want to sell the Raptor at first, but it's the quickest way to get the Tiger in the air.

Well i can now say that my tiger is here now also. Altho i've had it for a mounth or so and have been working the bugs out of it, time premitting as well.
I just got back from the field and ran 2 tanks thru the Tiger. Let me tell you your going to like how this feels . I sure do , it just flys great.
I have the ARF.
futaba 3151s
401 w/ 9254
os 50
hatior pipe.
Quick UK landing gear.
here is a list of my bugs i had to work out, I go at this by my self for the most part so i learn as i go, I first had the bent spindel and could not keep the tracking on got that sorted out theeeeeen i had a tail servo go out and theeeeen i had another one go out as well. figured out there is a grub screw that helps keep the bellt tight on the side of the frame. and the tail out put shaft came loose to. and then one of the fly bar paddels came loose so i just put the 3 d fly bar on with the snow white TT paddels making for very smooth flight to with a set of V- blades .
dont get me wrong iam not knocking my tiger I really like the heli, i have a stinger 50 as well and for my flying i like them both and will keep them UNLESS John B takes trade ins.....lol......
Iam waiting on the 3d dampners from my local hobby store i had got him to carry the tiger.

Yea, everything has a few bugs to work out, just the nature of the hobby. I can't wait to get this heli in the air. My skills have been improving to the point where I was really pushing the Raptor to its limits, I can't wait to see how much more oompf a .50 size ship has.

The 635s are very nice servos, the digital versions are 6635 (exact same servo, just with a digital amplifier). I not so sure you would tell the difference between these in flight to be honest, if you have the 635s already stick with them, if you are buying new the 635s are $30 and the 6635 are $44 - depends if the digi amp is worth $15 a servo to you.

At 6V both the 635s and the 6635s are fantastic servos.
