| I was getting about 10 minutes on the stock nihm pack. I get around 25 on a 1320mah lipo. I could probably run the lipo a little longer but by then the motors and 4in1 get pretty hot so I normally stop. It was a no brainer for me, even for the cost. I paid about $100 for a lipo charger and the battery. Nothing fancy for the charger, I got the E-Flite Celectra one that does 1-3 cells and have had no problems with it for what I do. It doesn't have all the options and read-outs of the more expensive chargers but it still charges =) It uses a simple light that blinks on and off when it is close to done charging and then when it finishes it does 3 consecutive beeps every like 30 seconds until you disconnect the battery. It charges my 1320 in under an hour to about 12.5 to 12.6 volts. The helicopter also has noticably more power and control with the lipo battery compared to the stock nihm. |
