| Today I raced to the field with the Voyager and the Std Vigor to continue running these Webras in.
Just into the second flight, the muscle pipe on my Voyager decides to part company with the rest of the helicopter, so that was the Voyager out for the day which was annoying to say the least.
Then the Vigor went into lockout, luckily I got it down. I saw the Hatori pipe was rubbing on the boom supports, so I fixed that.
In the second flight, the Vigor was in a 6ft hover and the wind blew it a little to the left so I corrected giving a little right aileron, all of a sudden the heli went knife edge and I had nothing, I instinctively hit the auto switch, but from 6ft, you don't have time for stuff all and it railed in on it's side.
New boom, blades, landing gear, blade grips, shafts etc. The thing that pisses me the most is I just had the canopy clear coated and now that has cracked...
The cause? The collective servo arm had fractured and come apart... Yeah I know, it's the first one I've seen as well...
Ofcourse, as soon as I was permanently out of the air for hte day, the weather went from crap to awesome....
These things happen, never mind they'll be back in the air for next weekend!
